Nepal has been selected as the location for the second outpost of the Farm at San Benito, an established eco-luxury holistic medi-wellness resort in the Philippines.

Named Miraaya Wellness & Golf Retreat, the new mountain resort is located in the Devchuli Hills and claimed to be Nepal’s first boutique golf retreat destination with a holistic wellness offering.

Like The Farm, Miraaya is owned by CG Hospitality – the hospitality wing of Nepalese multinational conglomerate, CG Corp Global. CG Hospitality says the new resort is inspired by its sister destination and draws on The Farm’s DNA, ethos and wellness pillars in both its concept and design.

Complete with a nine-hole golf course, Miraaya is currently in a soft-launch phase and offers guests access to a spa, a yoga and meditation pavilion and three restaurants; Alive!, Prana and The 19th Hole.

The resort is opening in phases, with the first phase successfully completed in October. This saw the resort open its door to guests and launch the Miraaya Wellness Spa. The spa offers traditional Nepali massage and beauty rituals – offered both indoors and outdoors – which incorporate local medicinal plants and herbs.

Guests staying at the property also have access to a range of complimentary activities including yoga, meditation and sound healing programmes.

In the second phase, expected to complete in January 2023 and kickstart the grand launch, the property will open 10 clubrooms and eight lagoon villas.

In the third and final phase, the resort will launch an additional six golf villas with private pools plus, Miraaya will begin its medically-supervised programmes.

Retreat themes will range from Holistic Detox, Beauty and Longevity and Pain Management, to Weight Management, Yoga and Raw Food.

“Miraaya embodies CG Hospitality's goal of holistic wellbeing, environmental sustainability and cultural consciousness with its carefully curated fare,” says Rahul Chaudhary, managing director and CEO of CG Hospitality.

Once all phases are complete, Miraaya will be a 24-key property with lagoon villas, club suites and villas with views of the resort’s golf course.

Next on the agenda for CG Hospitality are plans to further extend The Farm’s reach with a holistic medical wellness resort in Jordan. The destination is slated to open in 2023 and will fuse integrative medical treatments with traditional wellness rituals of ancient Jordan.
