The world's fourth Dior Spa will open this April at the Dorchester Collection's debut property in the Middle East – The Lana, Dubai
The 4,300 sq ft spa – called Dior Spa The Lana – will be home to six treatment rooms (including one for couples)
Programming will consist of a mix of signature Dior spa rituals, tech-powered beauty treatments and a trio of exclusive wellness experiences designed by Dior for the new location
Bathed with natural daylight, the spa will find its home on the 29th floor of the hotel and offer sweeping views of Dubai's striking skyline
The Lana, the Dorchester Collection’s first property in the Middle East will open on 1 February and welcome the first-ever Dior Spa in the UAE in April 2024.

Bathed with natural daylight on the hotel’s 29th floor thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows framing views of Dubai’s iconic landmarks such as the Burj Khalifa, Dior Spa The Lana was designed by architecture and interior design firm Gilles & Boissier.

With five treatment rooms and one couple’s suite, the 4,300sq ft spa will provide a menu of signature Dior treatments complemented with modern beauty tech solutions supplied by Icoone Therapy, Hydrafacial and Iyashi Dôme technology.

Programming highlights will include three new Dior treatments devised exclusively for The Lana, including Escale at The Lana, Dior Stone Therapy and D-Sculpt.

Escale is a tribute to the inaugural Dior Spa set ‘among the clouds’ in a high-rise building. This Japanese-inspired ritual invites guests to unwind on a futon on the floor, where therapists will blend kneading, friction and percussion and full-body stretching using deep, slow massage strokes.

Meanwhile, the Dior Stone Therapy massage is said to help harmonise energy flow using semi-precious stones strategically placed on the body and a facial micro-abrasion using sapphire crystals. At the same time, the skin is treated with a Dior Skin Light led therapy mask.

Lastly, D-Sculpt is a body massage designed to firm and slim by combining the traditional benefits of wood, dry brushing and toning techniques.

An array of facials curated for men and a personalised programme of hand and foot treatments will round out the offering.

The Lana and the Dior Spa teams will also work closely to craft personalised wellbeing escapes for guests.

Additional facilities at the fourth global Dior spa will include a futon for Japanese-inspired treatments, a dedicated beauty room and an elegant boutique showcasing Dior’s product lines.

Richard Alexander, general manager of The Lana, said: “We’re thrilled to announce Dior Spa The Lana, where we will perfectly capture the essence of Dior's philosophy and expertise in wellness.

“Dior Spa The Lana will be a destination that reflects our commitment to delivering an exceptional well-being experience for our guests. Within this haven of sensory experience, the team will be blending treatments, technologies, and customisation in a way not seen before.

"Here, each guest's journey goes beyond the ordinary, promising an authentic celebration of refined living at The Lana.”

Dior expands its spa footprint
Although originally a fashion house, the LVMH-owned Dior brand has expanded into the world of spa and beauty in recent years and currently encompasses three branded spas, a skincare line, a makeup collection and a perfume range.

Dior spas can be found in Morocco and France – including the premium La Samaritaine hotel (check out Spa Business’ first person review here), Dior Spa Plaza Athénéeand Dior Spa Eden-Roc.

Dior also has a branded treatment space at luxury London department store Harrods and recently launched its own Dior Spa carriage aboard Belmond's Royal Scotsman train.
