The rise of the training pod

The BLK BOX Training Pods are highly functional with integrated storage
Belfast based gym equipment manufacturer BLK BOX designs, engineers and fabricates a range of rigs for the most elite, performance-driven organisations globally.

One of their best-selling rig designs has never been more pertinent than now with the new safety measures introduced in fitness facilities across the world.

Unlike a standard rig set up, the BLK BOX Training Pods are highly functional with integrated storage, holding dumbbells, kettlebells, balls and plates. This means each user will have access to their own equipment, reducing the risk of cross contamination.

Personal and small group training sessions can safely go ahead, and clients will still be able to complete a full and varied workout safely within their own designated training area.

With many years of experience in the fabrication of bespoke steel structures, BLK BOX have created this design with both functionality and safety in mind.

Greg Bradley, Managing Director at BLK BOX, said: “The Training Pods are not only a practical solution for small group training sessions, but they are now a safe and effective solution to socially distanced training in the gym.

“It’s clear the industry is recognising the need for additional safety as we have seen a huge increase in demand for these training pods over the last few months.”
