SKILLCOURT is an intelligent laser-based training and diagnostic tool to promote both motor and cognitive development in patients, athletes and children.
By programming games and building games, SKILLCOURT gets people moving by having them solve cognitive, visual and motor tasks in an engaged way using tech and gamification.
SKILLCOURT improves cognitive skills. On the one hand it is the ability to remember, on the other hand it is the ability to solve problems, to think logically, to think creatively, but also to improve working memory.
In addition to this, visual skills are incredibly important in everyday life , it's all about timing - it's about seeing things quickly in order to have a basis for making good, quick decisions for everyday life. This is relevant in sport, but also everyday cognitive decisions and dealing with stress.
SKILLCOURT, i.e. cognitive training, is the last missing component that is urgently needed in therapy and training. Many facilities train cardiovascular, mobility, strength and function, but the organ with which every voluntary movement begins, the brain, is far too often not yet systematically trained.
SKILLCOURT provides this missing piece of the puzzle to help people develop optimally cognitively and motorically.
The groundbreaking tech is finally available in the UK, being headed up by Stephen Barton.
