About William Byrd Swimming Pool
The William Byrd Swimming Pool is located at 35 Victoria Lane, Harlington, Hayes UB3 5EW.

The pool was originally a school pool at the William Byrd Primary School in Harlington and for the past several years has been run by a Charitable Trust. Hillingdon Council has recently acquired back the William Byrd Swimming Pool which is now available to let.

The building is approximately 625 square meters. There nearest bus stop is within 150m (164yds) of the venue. The nearest National Rail station is Hayes and Harlington. The nearest underground station is Hatton Cross. The venue includes its own car park.

It should be noted that the site lies within the green belt which means there are limitations to the type and extent of development that can take place on the site. The site is also in an Archaeological Priority Area (APA) which makes it a designated area by the Council to protect buried archaeological remains from the adverse effects of development. In addition, as this is a community facility the Council’s policy is to retain and make best use of existing recreational, leisure and community facilities.

Plans of the site can be downloaded here:
