iFit's new interactive mind workouts aim to improve mental health through exercise

On-demand fitness streaming platform iFit has introduced a new programme of interactive body and mind workouts, designed to "expand the definition" of exercise. Launching in conjunction with National Mental Health Awareness Month, iFIT Mind offers a diverse range of workouts covering all aspects of wellness – from meditation and breathwork to visualisation and interactive virtual personal training.
To provide a personalised experience, the workout regimes are curated for each individual user and focus on the "three Ms" – mindfulness, meditation, and movement.
Mark Watterson, president of iFIT, said: "The iFIT Mind selection is curated and designed to enrich the harmony between physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing.
“By launching iFIT Mind, we aim to encourage our members to safeguard their mental health and connect with others in their lives, further solidifying iFIT’s dedication to personalised interactive training.”
iFit Mind has been made available exclusively on Freemotion cardio equipment used by commercial fitness facilities. iFit is the sister brand to Freemotion – both companies are owned by Icon Fitness.
