David Lloyd Leisure has opened its sixth club in the Netherlands.
Located in the prestigious Overtoom area of Amsterdam, the 3,200sq m club includes a 200-station gym, indoor swimming pool, two studios and spa area.
A 40-bike group cycling area has also been added due to the popularity of the activity within the Dutch market.
The club also offers a food and beverage area, although it is comparatively small due to its city centre location.
The club joins the chain’s five other sites, which were acquired from Cannons in late 2003.
The company is currently developing its seventh Dutch club, due to open in Rotterdam in 2005.
